(NGC UK) follows new government restrictions related to COVID-19, NGC UK wants to emphasize that its London office remains operational and continues to accept and return customer submissions. While NGC UK has temporarily suspended in-person visits within its London office, these transactions can be conducted via mail or by the front-door drop-off and pick-up service at the London office.

As the UK government eases restrictions related to the coronavirus (COVID-19), NGC UK is resuming a schedule of normal business hours, effective June 15. NGC UK continues to accept and return submissions through the mail, and submissions continue to be sent to and from CCG headquarters on a regular basis. All of CCG’s global locations remain open and fully operational.

NGC, NCS, PMG and ASG have cancelled their May Hong Kong, China on-site events due to the current coronavirus situation. Instead, all NGC and PMG submissions received in Hong Kong, China May 4-15 will be shipped to the companies’ US headquarters for an expedited turnaround of three weeks (plus shipping).

All submissions already received for the NGC, NCS and PMG on-site events will be shipped to the US immediately for an expedited turnaround. (The expedited turnaround does not apply to NCS conservation services.) All ASG submissions already received will be held for the next ASG on-site grading event.

NGC has cancelled its May Munich on-site grading event due to the current coronavirus situation. NGC International GmbH (NGC GmbH), the German affiliate of NGC, continues to accept submissions at its Munich office on all business days for shipment to NGC in the US.

NGC and NGC GmbH look forward to providing Munich on-site grading services again as soon as possible. In the meantime, all of NGC’s global locations remain open and fully operational.

NGC and PMG remain open and fully operational at their Sarasota, Florida, USA headquarters and their other locations around the world.

NGC and PMG meet a number of criteria for essential services according to Florida Executive Order 20-91, issued on April 1 by Governor DeSantis. The Executive Order specifically defines “essential services” to include, among many others, businesses that interact with customers electronically or by telephone and deliver products through the mail, manufacturing facilities, businesses that supply other essential businesses, and businesses that provide access to financial services, including non-bank financial services.

In addition to the enhanced cleaning and safety protocols previously instituted, including frequent cleanings of all work areas, NGC and PMG have taken the following immediate steps:

All customer drop-offs and pick-ups at their Sarasota headquarters, including the recently implemented Contactless Curbside Pick-Ups and Drop-Offs, have been suspended. (Note: Under normal circumstances, customer drop-offs and pick-ups at NGC and PMG’s Sarasota headquarters are available to Authorized Dealers by appointment only due to security requirements.)
Any additional employees who have been identified as being able to do a substantial portion of their work from home will be required to do so.

In a press conference on April 1, Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida said that he would be issuing a statewide “stay-at-home” mandate effective Thursday night at midnight. The Executive Order is expected to be signed later this afternoon.

Based on the information currently available, NGC and PMG expect their Sarasota, Florida, USA headquarters to be open tomorrow, April 2. Once the Executive Order has been signed, NGC and PMG will analyze and provide an update on their operations.

The coronavirus COVID-19 has already had a dramatic impact on the coin and paper money hobbies. Shows around the world have been cancelled, and virtually every dealer has already seen their business affected.

During this unprecedented situation, our thoughts are with our incredible global community of coin and paper money collectors and dealers. The coin and paper money markets are remarkably resilient and they will bounce back, as they always have when faced with challenges.

Now and in the future, NGC and PMG are here to help. All of our global offices remain open at full capacity, but with enhanced cleaning and safety procedures.
